Mandatory Requirements
To work with Supporting Hands Care, all candidates must hold or be working toward the following clearances and qualifications.
Essential Clearances
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (free online)
- Right to work in Australia
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher)
- Certificate IV in Disability (preferred)
- Relevant nursing/allied health registration (clinical roles)
- Manual Handling Certificate (12 months)
- Medication Administration Certificate (if required)
- Challenging Behaviour Response Training
