NDIS Support Worker

Melbourne, VIC (Multiple Locations)

Provide hands-on support to NDIS participants with daily living tasks, community participation, and personal care. Ideal for compassionate, patient individuals who love making a difference.

Full-Time

Supported Independent Living (SIL) Worker

Sydney, NSW & Brisbane, QLD

Provide 24/7 residential support to clients living in SIL arrangements. Assist with daily routines, social activities, skill development, and household tasks in a shared living environment.

Community Registered Nurse

Melbourne, VIC

Deliver community nursing services to NDIS and aged care clients in their homes. Responsibilities include wound care, medication management, chronic disease support, and health assessments.

Full-Time

NDIS Support Coordinator

Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid)

Guide NDIS participants through implementing their plans, connecting with providers, and working toward their goals. Requires strong knowledge of the NDIS and exceptional communication skills.

Part-Time

Counsellor / Behaviour Support Practitioner

Multiple Locations — Australia Wide

Provide therapeutic support, counselling, and behaviour support services to NDIS participants. Must be certified and registered with relevant professional body (AHPRA or PACFA).

Support older Australians under My Aged Care Home Care Packages with personal care, domestic assistance, social support, and transport — helping them remain independent at home.

Client Services & Admin Officer

Support our coordination team with client onboarding, scheduling, documentation, and general administration. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of NDIS, and proficiency in care management software preferred.

Manage a portfolio of My Aged Care clients, coordinate service delivery, complete assessments, and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and care workers across QLD.

What We Look For

Mandatory Requirements

To work with Supporting Hands Care, all candidates must hold or be working toward the following clearances and qualifications.

Essential Clearances

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (free online)
  • Right to work in Australia

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher)
  • Certificate IV in Disability (preferred)
  • Relevant nursing/allied health registration (clinical roles)
  • Manual Handling Certificate (12 months)
  • Medication Administration Certificate (if required)
  • Challenging Behaviour Response Training
